This Bloom.

I’m a stranger here, conversations in the grass and a howling at the moon.

I’m a stranger here

Conversations in the grass

And a howling at the moon

Always raining here

Some say its gonna pass

But I know it won’t be soon

So if you ever come dance with me

My two left feet of the morning

and my ageing ways

Will be waiting here,

to dance you out to the garden

where this bloom it stays

Its closer now

The sound of marching, we oughta

Take all we need

Cos’ its rusting out,

Rusting under the thought of

All that we might be

So if you ever come dance with me

My two left feet of the morning

and my ageing ways

Will be waiting here,

to dance you out to the garden

where this bloom it stays

If the coasts are clear

The fear will follow the calm

That our will might fail

Because this ship we steer

Is just a daisy chain in the storm

With its shaking tail
